The Beginning
Trinity Oak Labs has been a family business since the day it was founded back in 2002 when Mel and Char Eash purchased a yellow lab female, Jody, for the family dog. After several decades, this remains a family operated kennel. What started as a simple side venture has turned into a passion for 3 of the Eash siblings who continue to work very closely together. Ryan, Abby and Luke are continuing the tradition of excellence within the kennel with one primary focus: breeding elite Labradors who are intense in the field, yet quiet at home with the family.
Meet Ryan
Ryan is the oldest of the sons and started training dogs when he was just 14 years old with a fox red male named Jimmy. Now, he is married to his sweetheart Tabitha and together they are raising a beautiful family just south of Constantine, Michigan. Ryan is passionate about raising exceptional gun dogs who are the complete package. He built a new kennel in 2024 and is involved in the planning and daily kennel operations. Contact Ryan at 574-202-3946.
Meet Abby
Abby started training with a young yellow female named Emmy when she was just 11 years old. Emmy sparked the flame in Abby that led her to train retrievers full-time throughout her teen years and into her 20s, training hundreds of working gun dogs and accomplished hunt test retrievers. In 2014, Abby spent a large part of a year training with field trial trainer Tera Lanzcak before returning home to marry her sweetheart, Dean. Abby is mom to 4 children, and while the kids take up the large part of her days now, training and breeding champion retrievers is always on her mind. Her family resides in rural Lagrange, Indiana off the backside of Pigeon River FWA. You can reach Abby at 574-971-1366
