Hazel is a sweet female who is serious about working and retriever. She's a solid and reliable marking dog in the field, and lines well on her retrievers. One of the things we like about Hazel is her reliability from day to day, she's a solid and steady retriever who's always ready to give it her best.
Hazel is very well bred, coming from the first breeding of GRHRCH UH SRSAC Wake MH QAA and HRCH Kallie, which has proven to be a special cross with a high number excelling in field trials and hunt tests. We plan to continue her HRC hunt test career in 2023 by earning her HRCH title.
Hazel is very adaptable to new situations, making her a great dog for an amateur to handle. She is sensitive, but is not soft and easily forgives handler errors.
She weighs about 65 lb, and is an athletic American style working retriever. Hazel is great with people and kids, and is a pleasure to have in the house.
